Psychoeducational Assessments
Some situations don’t have a simple answer. Attention, learning, and emotions can all be tangled up together, and it’s genuinely hard to know where one ends and another begins. Maybe you’ve already tried some things. Maybe you’ve sat through meetings and still left without a clear picture of what’s actually going on.
This evaluation is built for that kind of complexity. I look at cognitive functioning, academic skills, and social-emotional and behavioral functioning all together - not as separate issues but as parts of one story. It’s the right fit when more than one concern is in play, or when you want the full picture before deciding what to do next.
You’ll receive a thorough written report, and we’ll meet virtually to go through everything together - what I found, what it means, and where to go from here.

The other evaluations each answer one focused question - is this ADHD, is this a learning disability, is this autism. This evaluation is for when the picture is more complicated than that. When attention, learning, and emotions are all part of what’s happening, this is the right place to start.

Previous testing may have been narrow, outdated, or done for a different purpose. If the results didn’t fully explain what you’re seeing, or if things have changed since then, a fresh comprehensive evaluation gives you a current and complete picture.

For a 504 plan, yes - private evaluations carry significant weight. For an IEP, the school district conducts their own assessment to determine eligibility, but my report gives their team a detailed roadmap of what’s been found and what your child needs

That doesn’t happen often, but if new concerns come up during testing, I’ll let you know before we get to the feedback session. The report will address everything that emerged, and we’ll talk through next steps together.

Yes. Adults come in for a variety of reasons - finally wanting answers after a lifetime of struggling, needing documentation for workplace accommodations, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. The process looks slightly different for adults but the goal is the same.
Cognitive & IQ Testing
Sometimes a school asks for it. Sometimes a gifted program requires it. And sometimes you just want to understand how your child actually thinks and learns. Whatever brought you here, this is a good place to start.
I conduct every assessment myself, from start to finish. You’ll always be working with the same person, someone who takes the time to make your child feel at ease before the testing even begins.

ADHD Testing
You’ve probably been wondering for a while. Maybe homework has turned into a daily battle. Maybe your child loses track of instructions before they’ve finished hearing them, or starts everything and finishes nothing. Teachers say “so much potential” like it’s a comfort, and it isn’t.
I spend time with your child directly, talk with you, reach out to their teachers, and use objective attention testing alongside the clinical interview. By the end, you’ll have a real answer - not just a label, but an explanation. And a concrete plan your child’s school can actually use.

Children, teens & adults: A lot of adults reach out after years of feeling like they just weren’t trying hard enough. That’s not what was happening. I also work with high school and college students who need documentation for accommodations through their disability services office.
Some children are very good at holding it together on the outside. They watch carefully, copy what other kids do, say the right things and come home completely spent. I have real experience with this kind of presentation, and I take it seriously.
My evaluations look at the whole picture: how your child communicates and connects, how they experience the sensory world, how they manage day to day. I’m not checking off a list. I’m trying to understand who your child actually is. Where a diagnosis fits, I pair it with recommendations that are about helping your child thrive, not just comply.
For children and teens, I also offer an optional session just for them, where I share a letter I’ve written directly to your child. It talks about their strengths, their challenges, and what all of it means in language that’s warm, honest, and entirely theirs.

Learning Profile Evaluation
This evaluation looks closely at how your child’s mind works, then compares that to their actual performance in reading, writing, and math. It’s how we find out whether something like dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia is part of the picture - and exactly where things are breaking down along the way.
When a diagnosis fits, I provide it. You’ll also leave with a real accommodation plan, whether that’s for an IEP, a 504, or simply a clear roadmap your child’s teachers can start using right away.
